WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT DREAMS

NEVER LET GO OF YOUR DREAMS

A lion does not concern himself with the opinions of the sheep – Tywin Lannister.

The poorest person in the world is the person without a dream and doesn’t even know what it means to dream. The most frustrated person in the world is the person with a dream that never becomes reality and does nothing to make it a reality.

Dreams and ambitions fuel your work ethic, providing the impetus that gets you out of bed and into the office every single morning. If you’re struggling to stay motivated, you’ve probably lost sight of those dreams. Spend some time reconnecting with your dreams; remind yourself of why you started out, and where you want to end up. A vision board is a fantastically visual way of reminding yourself of these goals, and a powerful tool in the fight to stay motivated.

You’ve listened to the wrong people putting the wrong information into your mind. And if you simply keep doing what you’ve been doing so far, you can pretty much forget about living your dream.
Everybody’s got a ton of opinions and they’re more than willing to share those opinions, especially if it allows them to justify and explain away their own failures. You’ve listened to the opinions of dream-stealers.

How many times have you heard stuff like this:
– You’re not smart enough.
– You can’t make money doing that!
– Who are you to do that?
– You know, only the people at the top make all the money.
– Why would you want to be rich? The rich are dishonest, evil people.
– You know, the people you see on TV are famous, but they’re not happy.
– You have to cheat if you want to succeed doing that.
– You have to steal your first million.
– You have to study hard, get good grades, go to college, get a degree, get a job instead of doing this stupid thing you’ve been talking about all the time!
– Get real. It’s not how things work in the real world.
– When are you going to quit this stupid thing and do something normal?
Sounds familiar?

The truth is, that this list could go on forever. But it’s all bullshit! Look, 98% of people in this world are not living their dreams and they never will. They’ve quit on their dreams long ago. And when they see you going against the current, they feel like they’ve got to stop you. And it doesn’t really matter if you’re succeeding, failing or just getting started. They see you as a reflection of what they once wanted to be but never will be…

And that causes a conflict inside of them.
A conflict of beliefs. The most painful part of there story is that they gave up all there effort just at the point of success without knowing.

If you’re gonna have to take shit from people who will work a 9-to-5 job all their life, a job that they hate, then you are not ready to achieve your dream.

When you get hit in a fight. It doesn’t matter how hard you got hit. What matters, is that you get back up and keep fighting. Keep fighting for your life. Keep fighting for your dream. Keep fighting for your future.

And when people start throwing their worthless opinions at you. Just remember the facts. Your dreams are here for a reason. They’re a gift that’s been given to you so you can live your life the way you want to live it, not the way somebody who doesn’t even control their own life wants you to live yours. When you were a child you were dreaming all the time, because you were thinking about what you wanted, about what you enjoyed, about what you loved, about what made you happy.

And don’t you EVER let anybody discourage you because you want to live your dream. Because it’s not selfish to want to live your life your way, not somebody else’s way, be it your parents, your teachers or WHOEVER. The only way to be selfish is to want other people to live the way you want them to live. And if somebody is giving you their opinion of why you can’t…. ignore it. Keep doing what you want to do, keep dreaming, keep believing and you’ll be able to present them with a FACT of your success. Don’t give-up and always improve your life everyday.

Live your dreams and master life!

P.S. Opinions can really drain your power. If you listen to them without ever questioning them, they will blind you from the facts.
