THE PRINCIPLE OF PERSISTENCE : NEVER BACK DOWN.

I will persist until I succeed.
I was not delivered into this world in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins.
I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my shepherd. I am a lion and I refuse to talk, to walk, to sleep with the sheep.
The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny.
I will persist until I succeed.

In THE GREATEST SALESMAN IN THE WORLD

Everyone wants success. Most people spend all their time dreaming about success, they talk about it, write about it and visualize it. But until you persevere and endure till the end you will never be successful in life. I love the word ‘persistence’ because it keeps me going anytime I fall. I have realized that falling down doesn’t make you a failure, but staying down does. Any time you are about to fall, always fall with your back on the ground because if you can look, then you can get up. Always make sure you pick something from the ground, which are the lessons you learn in life. Most times its not good to fall or make mistakes because you can always learn from people, books and things about you because it is wise to learn from your mistakes but it is wiser to learn from the mistakes of others and that’s why you need a good friend, a mentor, a teacher, a coach and always be ready to learn because life itself is a teacher Those who persevere are the ones left when everyone quits. One of the secret to my persistent attitude in life is that I rarely think of giving up and any time it comes to my mind I always remember how far I have gone which makes the giving up attitude a very stupid thing to do. If you are tired of starting and never succeeding, then stop giving up. Quitting is unthinkable and always remember that perseverance begins with perspiration.

I believe the easy road is always the wrong road. This road is the road most traveled. It’s often the road that causes people to really miss the biggest lessons… It’s the road that requires no discipline, focus or pain, all of which are necessary for growth. The road to success is a road less traveled, because few people want acquire the wisdom of success because of ignorance, many people give up too soon, some are afraid of success and a lot of excuses and reason. Remember that failure is not the path of least resistance; it’s the path of least persistence! Persistence produces the success of everyone who achieved greatness in life. Perseverance is a decision. It is a decision every successful person makes before achieving success. The greatest teacher Jesus Christ understood this principle when he advised us to always go extra miles. All successful life begins when you take responsibilities for your life and stop blaming someone for your decisions and you decide not to play the role of a coward.
I have discovered that people who have perseverance just do it anyway for a lot of reasons best known to them. So, I challenge you to life by these paradoxical commandment by Dr Kent. M. Keith.

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

The bottom line is that if you become a master at handling problems and overcoming obstacles, what can stop you from success? The answer is nothing! And if nothing can stop you, you become unstoppable!…
